Cheesy Garlic Bliss Bombs

  • Author: Martha

Description

There’s something about the aroma of garlic and cheese baking in the oven that instantly feels like home. Whether it’s a rainy weekend or a family movie night, there’s one snack that never fails to bring everyone to the kitchen before the timer even goes off—Cheesy Garlic Bliss Bombs.

These golden, pull-apart bites are everything their name promises: fluffy, buttery, garlicky, and loaded with melty cheese in every bite. In our family, these little bombs make an appearance whenever we need a crowd-pleasing appetizer, a quick side for soup night, or a “just because” treat.

I first discovered these on a cozy winter evening, flipping through old recipes and trying to find a way to use up leftover dough. What started as a kitchen experiment quickly became a staple—now they’re requested at every gathering. They remind me of the buttery garlic knots from the pizzeria back home, but with a delightful cheesy twist that makes them even more irresistible.

If you’re looking for that perfect bite-sized snack that’s big on flavor, simple to make, and sure to win hearts—these cheesy garlic bombs are it.

Ingredients

Scale

1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat to prevent sticking.

  • Prep the Dough: Open your can of biscuit dough and separate each biscuit. Flatten each piece slightly in your hand to create a small circle—think of it like making a little doughy pocket.

  • Fill with Cheese: Place a generous pinch of shredded mozzarella in the center of each circle. Don’t be shy—the more cheese, the better. Then gently fold the edges up and pinch to seal, creating a little ball. Roll it in your hands to smooth it out.

  • Butter-Garlic Coating: In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, salt, and chopped parsley. This is where the magic begins.

  • Coat the Bombs: Dip each dough ball into the garlic butter mixture, making sure every side is coated in that garlicky goodness. Place them seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, spaced slightly apart.

  • Bake to Perfection: Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown. You’ll know they’re ready when the tops are beautifully golden and your kitchen smells like a dream.

  • Serve Warm: Once baked, brush them with any leftover garlic butter (if you haven’t already used every last drop). Serve immediately while they’re still warm and melty inside.

Notes

If you’re hosting, try pairing these with a side of marinara or ranch dressing for dipping. They’re also a great addition to any game day spread or cozy night in with a bowl of soup.
