Imagine a cozy evening filled with the warm aroma of golden, buttery pastry and the irresistible scent of garlic and Parmesan wafting through your kitchen. These Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs are the ultimate comfort food. They’re a delightful twist on a classic cheeseburger, wrapped in soft, pillowy dough, and bursting with juicy beef, melted cheese, and savory seasonings. Perfect as a party appetizer, family dinner, or snack, these bite-sized treasures bring a smile to anyone who takes a bite.

I first discovered this recipe while searching for a fun, crowd-pleasing dish to serve at a game night. These little bombs not only wowed my guests but also became a new family favorite. The combination of garlic butter and Parmesan takes them to a whole new level of deliciousness. Let’s dive into what makes these cheeseburger bombs so special and how you can make them at home!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 slices of cheddar cheese (cut into small squares)
  • 1 package of refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Filling:
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease. Season the beef with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Let it cool slightly.
  • Prep the Dough:
Open the biscuit dough and separate it into individual pieces. Flatten each piece into a small circle using your hands or a rolling pin.
  • Assemble the Bombs:
Place a small spoonful of cooked beef in the center of each dough circle. Top with a square of cheddar cheese. Fold the edges of the dough up and over the filling, pinching to seal. Roll gently in your hands to form a ball.
  • Bake:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the sealed dough balls seam-side down on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Garlic Butter Topping:
While the bombs bake, combine melted butter, minced garlic, and Parmesan cheese in a small bowl.
  • Finish and Serve:
Once the bombs are out of the oven, brush them generously with the garlic butter mixture. Sprinkle with additional Parmesan and fresh parsley, if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For an extra crispy texture, brush the bombs with an egg wash before baking.
  • Leftovers can be reheated in the oven at 350°F for 5-7 minutes to maintain their crispness.
