Taco Pizza

Taco Pizza is a savory twist on traditional pizza, combining the flavors of classic tacos with the beloved appeal of pizza. This recipe features a crispy pizza crust topped with seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and a drizzle of zesty taco sauce. Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning mix
1 pre-made pizza crust
1 cup refried beans
1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 cup diced tomatoes
1/2 cup diced red onion
1/2 cup sliced black olives
1/2 cup sliced jalapeños
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Sour cream and salsa for serving

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess grease.
Stir in the taco seasoning mix and follow the instructions on the packet to prepare the taco meat.
Place the pre-made pizza crust on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
Spread the refried beans evenly over the pizza crust.
Sprinkle half of the shredded Mexican cheese blend over the beans.
Spread the prepared taco meat over the cheese layer.
Top the taco meat with the remaining shredded cheese.
Bake the taco pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a minute or two.
Top the taco pizza with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced red onion, sliced black olives, sliced jalapeños, and chopped fresh cilantro.
Serve the taco pizza hot, and offer sour cream and salsa on the side for dipping.
