Seafood Lover’s Delight: Garlicky, Buttery, Shrimp Scampi
Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tablespoon pure olive oil
2 tablespoons garlic, finely chopped
1/2 fresh lemon, Juice only
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 cup softened butter
1 tablespoon parsley
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions:
Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
Add olive oil and cook the shrimp until they turn pink.
Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add garlic and cook until it is tender.
Lower the heat and simmer for 7 minutes.
Squeeze the lemon into the skillet.
Add the Italian seasoning, butter, and parsley, and stir until well combined.
Return the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they are well coated with the sauce.
Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the shrimp.
Serve hot with a side of crusty bread to dip in the sauce.
