Ingredients You’ll Need:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can (15 oz) sloppy joe sauce
  • 1 cup frozen corn kernels
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation Steps:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  5. Roll out the crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to create a crust.
  6. Pour the Sloppy Joe mixture over the crescent roll crust, spreading it evenly.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top, ensuring even coverage.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
  10. Slice and serve the Easy Sloppy Joe Casserole, optionally garnished with diced tomatoes, green onions, and a dollop of sour cream.
