With layers of seasoned ground beef, savory sauce, and a golden cheesy topping, it’s a fuss-free delight for busy nights.

Ingredients You’ll Need:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can (15 oz) sloppy joe sauce
  • 1 cup frozen corn kernels
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: diced tomatoes, green onions, sour cream

Preparation Steps:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped onion and diced green bell pepper to the skillet. Sauté until vegetables are tender.
  4. Stir in the sloppy joe sauce and frozen corn. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Roll out the crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to create a crust.
